The Dulux Woodgard Timbavarnish teak 5L is a solvent-based wood varnish designed to protect and enhance interior and exterior timber surfaces. Formulated with a durable high-gloss finish, this varnish provides excellent UV resistance and water repellence, helping protect wood against harsh South African weather conditions.

The teak tint enhances the natural grain and warmth of timber while delivering long-lasting protection for doors, window frames, furniture, and wooden trim.

The Dulux Woodgard Timbavarnish teak 5L is suitable for use on most wooden surfaces where a glossy decorative and protective coating is required. It is specifically formulated for:

The solvent-based formulation penetrates and seals timber effectively, while the teak colour provides a rich wood-tone appearance. It is not recommended for wooden floors or high-abrasion areas.

Installation / Usage

Ensure timber surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or previous loose coatings before application. Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. Apply using a quality brush or roller in smooth, even coats following the wood grain direction.

Allow approximately 4 hours drying time between coats and lightly sand between coats for a smoother finish. Three coats are generally recommended for optimal durability and appearance. Clean tools using mineral turpentine or suitable solvent cleaner after use.
