Flash Harry Brown Liquid Plastic WP/Sealer 5L

The Flash Harry Liquid Plastic Waterproofing & Sealer 5L Brown is a flexible acrylic waterproofing solution designed for protecting and sealing compatible roofs, walls, parapets, gutters, flashings, and other exterior surfaces. The formula is a pure acrylic waterproofing polymer modified with latex, providing flexibility, UV stability and strong adhesion.

Supplied in a convenient 5-litre container with a brown finish, it is suitable for waterproofing repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, and protective coating applications.

Flash Harry Liquid Plastic 5L Brown

Flash Harry Liquid Plastic forms a flexible protective coating over properly prepared compatible surfaces. The manufacturer specifies elongation of approximately 350%, allowing the coating to accommodate movement while maintaining its waterproofing properties.

For waterproofing applications, Flash Harry specifies that Liquid Plastic should be used in conjunction with a waterproofing membrane, with proper saturation of the membrane being particularly important.

Surface Preparation & Application

Surfaces should be dry, clean, sound, and free from dust, dirt, grime, loose coatings, and other contaminants before application.

Porous surfaces can be primed using an appropriate acrylic bonding liquid or a 50% diluted coat of Liquid Plastic, according to Flash Harry’s technical guidance.

For waterproofing, apply Liquid Plastic together with the appropriate waterproofing membrane and ensure the first saturation coat thoroughly embeds and saturates the membrane.

Important Information

Flash Harry states that Liquid Plastic is not recommended for areas of permanent ponding, underneath tiles, lightweight screed applications, slate roofs, or for overcoating existing bitumen waterproofing systems. It should also not be applied when rain is imminent. Recommended application surface temperature is between 5°C and 35°C.
