Description

The Gang Nails GH 75mm x 128mm are durable timber connector plates designed for joining and reinforcing timber components in roof trusses, framing, and general timber construction. Measuring 75mm x 128mm, the plate features multiple integrated teeth that penetrate the timber to create a strong and stable connection between adjoining timber members.

Ideal for builders, roofing contractors, carpenters, truss manufacturers, and construction professionals, GH Gang Nails provide an efficient solution for timber connections where strength and stability are required.

Timber Connector for Roof Trusses and Framing

The GH 75mm x 128mm Gang Nails are commonly used in timber roof construction and framing applications. Their multi-tooth design creates numerous connection points across the timber surface, helping distribute forces across the joint.

They are particularly useful in roof truss construction, where correctly specified connector plates can join timber members at various angles to form a complete structural truss.

Why Choose GH 75mm x 128mm Gang Nails?

Gang nail plates provide a practical alternative to complicated traditional timber joints. The integrated teeth are designed to grip the timber securely when correctly pressed into position, creating a neat connection without requiring individual nails across the entire plate.

The 75mm x 128mm size provides a generous connection area, making this connector suitable for a range of timber construction and reinforcement applications.

Installation Guidelines

Position the timber members correctly according to the required structure before installing the gang nail plate. Place the connector over the joint and ensure it is correctly aligned before pressing the teeth into the timber.

For structural roof trusses, the size, quantity, position, and installation of connector plates should follow the approved truss design and relevant engineering requirements. Appropriate pressing equipment should be used where specified.

Do not use connector plates that are bent, damaged, heavily corroded, or incorrectly sized for the application.

Storage and Handling

Store the gang nails in a clean and dry environment before installation. Protect the plates from excessive moisture and corrosive substances during storage.

Inspect the connector and teeth before installation to ensure there is no damage that could affect the connection.
