Grinding Disc vs Cutting Disc

A grinding disc is thicker than a typical cutting disc and is designed to remove material using the appropriate grinding surface.

The 6mm thickness makes this product suitable for grinding applications such as smoothing welds and removing excess metal.

Thin cutting discs should not be substituted for grinding discs because they are generally not designed to withstand significant side-loading.

Machine Compatibility
